Dennis Albetski born in Massachusetts, educated at Paier College of Art in Hamden CT, has been working in the fields of illustration and fine arts for the past 25 years.
Dennis’ work has earned him signature membership in such well-known watercolor societies as The American Watercolor Society, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, Northeast Watercolor Society and The Watercolor Society of Alabama garnering him numerous awards throughout the country such as The Edgar Whitney Memorial Award and The Artist’s Magazine Award from The American Watercolor Society and the Gold Medal of Honor and The Sylvan Grouse Medal from the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society.
His paintings have been exhibited in many solo, group and traveling shows in many museums and universities around the nation such as the Owensboro Museum of Fine Arts in Owensboro, Kentucky, The Wichita Falls Museum in Texas and the Anchorage Museum of History and Art in Anchorage, Alaska.
He has also been published in the 1994 edition of The Artist’s Magazine and The 6th edition of the college textbook Design through Discovery by Marjorie Elliot Bevlin.
